The German luxury carmaker Audi, who is known to make enthusiast-friendly, comfortable yet powerful cars has launched its latest product which is a high-performance SUV, the Audi RS Q8 at the starting price of INR 2.07 Crores.
The “RS” moniker which stands for “Racing Sport” means that this humongous SUV is from the performance division of the German giant.
The turbocharged direct-injection V8 produces a full-bodied and sporty V8 growl, and Audi’s Drive Select Dynamic Handling System lets you adjust driving manners to your preference. The mild-hybrid system (MHEV) with a 48-volt main onboard electrical system, combines with the stonking V8 and ensures that you do not miss out on the efficiency, along with the sheer performance it offers.
The car uses a standard eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox that sends power to the legendary all-wheel-drive Audi-Quattro system. The new Audi RS Q8 successfully combines outstanding sportiness and maximum everyday usability.
The Audi RS Q8 also features cylinder on demand (COD) technology that turns off cylinders when power needed is lesser to save fuel. It is combined with the mild-hybrid system (MHEV) with a 48-volt main onboard electrical system, combines with the stonking V8, and ensures that you do not miss out on the efficiency, along with the sheer performance it offers.
To minimize body roll during high speed cornering, Audi India has added an optional electro-mechanical roll stabilization damper. A standard RS mode button is also given on the steering wheel and with just a flick of button, the character of the car from a daily driver to a proper race vehicle.
The interior feels upmarket with ultra-luxurious touches like –

As standard, the Audi RS Q8 boasts All-wheel steering, RS roof spoiler, Audi’s Virtual cockpit, Quattro with self-locking differential, Sport Adaptive Air Suspension and 2 RS modes for personalized drive settings. The Audi RS Q8 also comes standard with massive 58.42 cms (23”) 5 Y Spoke Diamond Turned alloys. Air Quality Package with 4 Zone climate control is also standard.

As optional extras, the Audi RS Q8 offers a Black styling package with logos in black, panoramic sunroof, Head-up display, Matrix LED headlights, RS Sports Exhaust, a sweet-sounding Bang & Olufsen Advanced surround sound system with 3D sound, and RS dynamic package plus (Top speed increased to 305kph).

Just FYI Information – The Audi RS Q8 is the fastest SUV in-terms of lap timing at the iconic German racetrack, Nurburgring. It shares the platform as well as a powertrain with its siblings like the Lamborghini Urus, Bentley Bentayega, and the Porsche Cayenne.
